I have received the most wonderful Christmas present from David and Joanna, last Saturday's Guardian! I'll savour it for weeks.

happy christmas dear mahananda, joanna and david. today we've had a bit of snow, so a white christmas for us. not in england though probably. funny that there's the yearly betting on whether or not it'll be a white xmas in the uk. in poland it's the opposite - unusual for it not to snow. enjoy the heat.
